AVOID HARMFUL INGREDIENTS

Frozen treats such as ice cream may be one of our favorite summertime snacks, but sharing with your pup could be harmful.  Dairy is actually one of the top items to void giving your pup, as most dogs react negatively to it.  It is common to see vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort from a pup who has had even a little big of daily products.

Additionally, there are often toppings on ice cream such as chocolate and nuts, some of which are very toxic for pups.  It’s really important, especially for new pup parents, to become intimately familiar with what common household items and food are harmful to your pup if ingested.  Many loving pup parents think thy are spoiling their furry friend by sharing what they love, but end up causing medical issues for their pup.
